Warning lights, dead circuits, flickering dashboards, sensors that lie. We trace the fault through the wiring until we find the real cause, on any make.
What we check
A 2-DIN head unit with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, fitted with the right fascia and adapters so it looks like it left the factory that way.
What we check
Better speakers and proper sound-deadening behind the door card, so the music is clear and the doors stop rattling.
What we check
Headlights, bulbs and lighting faults sorted, so you see the road and pass the inspection.
What we check
A/C checked and recharged in the workshop, and the electrical side of the system diagnosed when it will not switch on.
What we check
The car that will not start, the battery that keeps going flat. We test the battery, alternator and starter and tell you which one it is.

Customers say it again and again: he finds what is wrong, says what it is, and fixes only that. This is how.
Step 01
You tell us what the car does and when. The details matter: cold mornings, rain, only at speed.
Step 02
Diagnosis on the car itself, with the right equipment for its make. No guessing, no swapping parts to see.
Step 03
You hear what the fault is and what fixing it costs before any work starts.
Step 04
The repair you agreed to, tested before the car goes back to you.
Fair prices overall, because he does and fixes what has to be done, and they don't invent faults or fake diagnoses.
Spotless. He could have told me it was some other problem, but he was honest! A rare thing these days.
Rua da Vinha, Areosa
Miguel Melo runs a small auto-electrics workshop on Rua da Vinha, in Areosa, just north of Viana do Castelo's centre. It is one of the few workshops in the region specialised in car electrics, and it knows every make.
The work is wiring, electronics, lighting and air conditioning, and the car's sound and screen: a new radio with Android Auto that looks factory-fitted, speakers with proper deadening behind the door card.
The workshop is clean and organised, the team friendly, and the jobs quick. People come back because the diagnosis is honest.
